New Client

    o 60 min Massage Treatment - $70

  • We'll discuss how you've been feeling in your body, how you feel in the moment and how you want to feel. You'll get a description of the modalities offered and together we'll create a plan for the session, followed by a 60 min massage session. After the session, we will assess changes in body, decide plan for future massage therapy, reschedule and learn self-treatment techniques.

Your first session is a flat rate of $70. You will have the option of sliding scale rates for subsequent visits if you return within a month.
Thai Massage

    o 90 min Thai Massage - $100

  • Thai massage is often called Lazy (Wo)m(y)n's Yoga. It's a flowing meditation. This full session (90 minutes) is the traditional amount of time that enables the work to be thorough and done very slowly. While it is typically practiced on a floor mat, it has been adapted to the massage table. Client will receive the massage wearing comfortable clothes. It includes elements of movement, stretches, compressions. This ancient and dynamic form of bodywork opens the joints and releases blocked energy. Clients can expect to feel like they left the most personalized, caressing, tough love yoga class ever. They will feel both energized and grounded, taller and looser.
Sliding Scale [$70-$100] is available if your follow up appointment is booked within one month of your last visit.
  • o 60 min Thai Massage (Abbreviated) - $70

  • Same as above, but this session is abbreviated in time and while the scope is less thorough than a traditional 90 minutes, you will still benefit from Thai massage's ability to connect the energetic and physical body. • The focus of this massage will be to provide you with relief of chronic pain and/or improve range of motion in a specific area. Clinical Deep Tissue includes slower, deeper work in order to break down bad muscular patterns and invite new, feel-good ways of being. You tell me how much pressure is good for you.

Trigger Point Therapy

    o 60 min TP Massage - $70

  • Trigger Points are defined by Dr. Janet Travell as "highly irritable localized spots of exquisite tenderness in a nodule in a palpable taut band of muscle tissue." They are your body's response to injuries and microtears, locking down the injured area to prevent further injury. Trigger Points can cause referred pain, burning, tingling, numbness, weakness or inflexibility throughout the body. Client and therapist will work together to locate trigger points: clients use a 1-10 pain scale to verbally communicate sensation while therapist observes visual and palpable signs. Therapist will guide client in breathing while using specific, repeated strokes to alleviate these tender spots. Clients can expect relief from pain, better circulation to affected area and better muscle performance and range. Excellent after injuries, overuse, and for those who work long hours in the same position. Trigger point therapy requires homework, so if you're interested in getting to know your body and what you can do for yourself to create some lasting relief from pain, this is the one.
Sliding Scale [$40-$70] is available if your follow up appointment is booked within one month of your last visit.
Consultation

o Body Consultation: Posture, ROM, Tension Examination - $30

  • Better understand your body with a consultation. Beginning with your goals and intentions, your therapist will do a posture analysis, range of motion test and examine muscle tension through touch to determine what's going on in your body. Then we'll put together a comprehensive plan of action to establish what muscles you'll need to massage, stretch and strengthen. We'll also examine which daily patterns exascerbate pain or tension and which support optimal movement. Let your therapist know how you'll learn most effectively. You can draw pictures, examine images in books, record verbal explanations or use your own body as a model.

Sliding Scale
Sliding Scale is available if your follow up appointment is booked within one month of your last visit. This is our system and it seems to work well for everybody. The reason we have a sliding scale is to make sure you can come in for treatment often enough to really get better and see changes. You choose what to pay, between $40 and $70 per hour treatment. We don't care what you earn. We also know that everyone's financial situation is different with varying responsibilities. All we care about is that you can commit to treatment with us. In order to really deal with some of your health concerns, you may need to come in weekly for several weeks or months, so as you decide what to pay on our scale, please think about what you can comfortably commit to.

Payment Accepted
Wild Seed Wellness accepts cash, personal checks (made out to Ana Jahannes) and credit/debit card.

Rescheduling Policy

We understand that unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone’s life. Transportation issues, project deadlines, bad weather and illness are just a few reasons why one might consider rescheduling an appointment. In our desire to be effective and fair to all of our clients and out of consideration for our therapists’ time, we have adopted the following policies:

  • 24 hour advance notice is required when rescheduling or canceling an appointment. This allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule an appointment.
  • If you are unable to give us 24 hours advance notice you will be charged a $20 no show fee. This amount must be paid prior to your next scheduled appointment.
No-shows
Anyone who either forgets or consciously chooses to forgo their appointment for whatever reason will be considered a “no-show”. You will be charged $20 for your “missed” appointment and future service will be denied until payment is made.

Arriving late
Appointment times have been arranged specifically for you. If you arrive late your session may be shortened in order to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours. Your appointment will end on time as scheduled. Depending upon how late you arrive, your therapist will then determine if there is enough time remaining to start a treatment. Regardless of the length of the treatment actually given, you will be responsible for the full price of the session.

Out of respect and consideration to your therapist and other clients, please plan accordingly and be on time.
